The most popular game in Australia these days is the Wii Fit. Due to financial crisis in the whole country, developers and hardware manufacturers will experience a negative impact on sales. It is only in Australia that the gaming industry is blooming. Other big players in Australia this year include the Wii Play, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King ad Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training.

Ubisoft’s executive director for Europe, said that other countries are not ale to achieve their sales target but Australia is the only country that has over exceeded there sales target.
