BBBS joined forces with Best Buy and Alden of Waterford to make the Wii Bowl event possible. Best Buy provided three big projection screens as well as Nintendo Wii consoles. The widest screen was about 75 inches. Alden provided the location and food, which included hot dogs and soft-dough pretzels.

A minimum of $100 is all that is needed to participate in Bowl For Kids' Sake. The three highest donors will have the opportunity to win a Nintendo Wii, a gas card, shopping spree, picnic tote or digital camera. Big Brother Big Sisters of Southern Kane and Kendall Counties has been a program of Family Counseling Services of Aurora for 29 years. Other services include behavioral health, consumer credit counseling and continuing education.

The Wiimote functions as a light-gun, and works very well when it's plugged into the Wii Zapper (that's a $25 peripheral, but you don't need it to play). You don't have much control over where your character moves, but you're plenty busy with the waves of zombies in your face, so you simply blast your way through each of seven levels. These are set up as mini-movies and have extended cut scenes to help with the outrageous plot. And that's the best way to describe this game: outrageous.
